789883_bouquet.jpgOnce in a life time event should be planned and recorded in such a way and that it leaves the lasting effects on the guests attending that event. Wedding is one of it. The custom of carrying a bouquet by the bride is a very special one. It may seem to be a simple thing but in reality it is surrounded by many other related ceremonies.

There can be variation in this event. Traditionally bride, her mother and groom’s mother carry the bouquet.  You can also give a bouquet to both the fathers too. Guests would love that. A game can be organized using this theme. Dad’s can win the flowers if he names the guests or he can be given the flower with the poem which he has to recite during the ceremony.

Bouquets also can be made in different patterns. One of them can be in a group of bouquets tied together and she can then separate it and share it with various people specially Mother and Father of the groom.

A game of naming the flowers can be arranged to play before the dance. Bridal bouquet can be displayed and the guests have to tell the names of the flowers in it. Some would be very obvious like tulips and roses but some unusual ones would be difficult to guess.
There can be fun in throwing the bouquet too. Some brides keep a flower from her wedding bouquet as a remembrance before tossing it away. Some also arrange to a separate bouquet to toss it and keep the original one for them.

If the guests include many unmarried women, you may try to bundle small bouquets tied lightly so that while tossing it gets untied and several women can catch it. This will create lots of excitement.
